April 26, 2025 on Keegans Bayou Trail Partners and Schedule 8:30 – 11:30. Seventy-five attendees enjoyed the Brays Oaks Trail’s birds, wildflowers and history. Decades ago, Keegans Bayou was more than a bayou. It was a vital artery of travel and commerce, where pioneers journeyed, and communities flourished. Today, the trails stand as a testament to resilience, where stories of the past merge with the beauty of the present.

2024, April 13 was the first event with staggered activities. We had five bird walks previously. By 8:30 38 participants signed in for the bird walk and wildflower tour. One of the highlights was a dance class with Step Healthy, a program of Memorial Hermann, our sponsor. The cycles Rolled Out at 10:30. Altogether 50 people rolled through the activities.

June 2023 On this bike ride, we inspected and discussed a potential high-comfort, off-street trail connecting Beechnut Street to Brays Bayou Trail along Renwick Drive.

June 2022 Participated in the Friends of Marian Park’s 2nd annual bike ride down Brays Oaks Trail to Brays Bayou Trail up to Chimney Rock and back. Was a fun ride with great people.

April 2022 Participated in a Friends of Keegans Bayou Trails and Park Clean-up along Keegans Bayou.
